Shawn Schwaner
Shawn Schwaner was the best professor I had in college.
He made learning fun. I was really getting tired of school, but I always looked forward to his classes.
One year I took one of his classes during the summer, Juvenile Delinquency. Instead of writing a paper, he let me make a short film. That film was called "Revenge of the Hairclips." It was based on an idea that my nephew Shawn (not to be confused with professor Shawn) had. We morphed it and gave it a sociological angle. It was great.
I only made one copy and turned it in for credit. My best friend (love you Trisha!) kept the original footage. Now that I want to edit it and take out the sociological angle, Trisha can't find the original footage. We attempted to shoot it again, but it just didn't work out. Professor Shawn doesn't teach at U of L anymore, and I can't find him.
So, if anyone knows how to get in touch him Shawn Schwaner, professor of Sociology, please let me know! I don't mind if he wants to keep the copy I turned in, but I'd at least like to make a copy for myself to refer back to for the next time we try to re-shoot.
