Memorial Day
Even though it is technically not Memorial Day here anymore, I thought I would take this time to honor my uncle that died in WWII.

Died: Friday, October 20, 1944
Awards: Purple Heart
I obviously never knew him. And my dad was only 6 when his brother died. It makes me sad to never have met him, though. My dad's brother and sister that are still around are pretty cool.
