Oh. Wow.

I baby sat for all my nephews on Tuesday. Austin is 2, Caleb and Conner are 3 months, and Shawn is 14. Wow. I am SO not ready for kids. At least not for twins and a toddler at the same time. Conner was fussy the whole time, and eventually it was time to feed him, so I was doing that, when Caleb decided it was his turn to be fussy. He was in the swing and spit out his pacifier. I asked Austin to please go put the pacifier back in Caleb's mouth. He walked over there, kinda looked in the swing, couldn't see it, and walked back to his toys. So I managed to get out of the chair, keeping the bottle in Conner's mouth, and give Caleb his pacifier back.

I sit back down. Not even 2 minutes later Caleb spits it out again and starts crying.

"Austin."

Totally ignores me.

"Austin David."

Totally ignores me. Continues playing with his musical Barney and other annoying musical toy.

"Austin David (insert last name here). PLEASE go put Caleb's pacifier in his mouth."

He looks up at me with this look that says "I don't know where it is."

"It's by his neck. You know where his neck is."

Austin walks over, peers in the swing and finds the pacifier. But, the swing is swinging, Caleb is kicking and he turns and looks at me, shrugs his shoulders and says simply, "Help."

I sigh in frustration. "Austin, that was the whole point, you were supposed to be helping ME."

I stand up, put Conner over my shoulder, as he is finished with his bottle, and he proceeds to spit up all over me.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE and adore my nephews. Especially Austin lately. He has been asking for me specifically to do things for him, which I think is sweet. Just that incident made me realize that I don't know how my sister does this every day of the week. So, while I want kids someday, I definitely don't want twins!
