gotta give a shout out!
I thought I would take the time in my blog to give shout outs to my friends.
Today, it's Deb. Deb is awesome. She is incredibly talented, a great writer. She makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. I wish we could hang out more, but she lives wayyy over in Alberta and I live wayyy over here in Kentucky. I met her on a Trey Parker/Matt Stone message board. I think when we became true friends was when I sent her a bootleg copy of Orgazmo. She used to write stories in the CrapTV chatroom about Sweet Ass Matt and Commando Style Trey. Ahh, those were the days.
The first time I met Deb in person, was in Las Vegas. My other internet friends and I were having a PJ party in Vegas. I think I only have hung out with her one other time, in California. When our other friend Arifa got married. I split my time between her and Greg? I think.
Deb and I have plans to take over the world someday. But I can't tell you how. It has to be a surprise.

not much to talk about today
Here's a cute picture of me and John from karaoke Thursday night.

I went to see "Super Size Me" tonight. I don't think I'll be eating fast food for a while.
Oh, and I didn't even make it to round one of the Lane Bryant plus size model thing, so now I don't have to worry about keeping my measurements within 3 inches of what they currently are. So, I think I'll start exercising again.

mojo musicfest
So, Saturday night I went to the one year anniversary party for louisvillemojo.com. It was a musicfest. It was pretty cool. They also had a write up in the Scene section of the local paper so the turn out was pretty good. My friends' band, Les Debutantes played. They have a song that has a waltz tempo to it, so my friend Jason and I waltzed across the dance floor. It was pretty awesome. We had the whole floor to ourselves. And people applauded us when the song was over :)

Other than that, I am getting pretty sad. My friend John has been over here for a year. He's British, works for a German company, and goes back to Germany in 15 days :( He's a pretty awesome friend, and I am going to miss him a lot.

well, poo.
I tried to log in to the message board that Kirk's friends talk on, because I needed the email address for one of them, and it said that I didn't have access anymore. Whatever. I just needed Danny's email address because I wanted to exchange my Debutantes t-shirt and the web site for his store currently doesn't have an email address on it. Ah well. I'll assume that any email @kopilot.net goes to him and we'll see what happens.

Finally, a Sunday off!
And I am sitting around doing nothing. And it feels so good!
I actually have had the whole weekend off. I had Friday night off and took Shawn to see the new Harry Potter movie. I really liked it. Saturday Shawn left for Australia for his People to People Student Ambassador trip. He'll be back in 19 days. Saturday night I went to dinner with Stupid Boy and we hung out and watched TV after. It was a nice night but a just friends night which is always frustrating to me, but I will have to learn to deal with that as time goes on. Now I am trying to decide if I want to do laundry.
So, last week, I had one day at work where I went in and was totally not in dress code. I was wearing these khaki pants that were kinda like jeans, but not really. And this cotton knit shirt that was kinda like a t-shirt, but not really. And the last thing I said when I left the house was "I sure hope my district manger doesn't pay me a surprise visit today." And I'll be damned. Who showed up that day? He did! The problem is that I just don't have a lot of cute summery stuff. I have fall, winter, spring, but not summer. And it is SO hot here in the summer. I can't get away with wearing my early spring stuff in the summer. I'd die of heat stroke. Would anyone like to buy me some new clothes?
