election day

Today I vote for a new governor. And various other offices in the state. If you live in KY and are not voting, I want to hear no complaints from you about the way our state is run!!

Not much exciting has been going on with me. Just lots and lots of work. We are down to two employees in the store I am working at now (me and Beth). A new person starts today, so hopefully we can get her trained and up to speed relatively quickly. Friday I get to work a double shift instead of having day work like I was scheduled. I want to go back to my store!

yeah, first republican governor in forever and a day, and I'll be honest, I voted for him, and I am glad we have a republican in frankfort. our taxes are super high, our state just has horrible budget problems and all the democrats just seemed to be making it worse. although I didn't JUST vote for him because of the party. I actually read the things in the newspaper on sunday for ALL the elections that were going on and picked who I liked best for each office. the crazy thing is, for one of them, no one was running. so I wrote in "John King."

who's john king?

you shouldn't feel like you have to justify who you voted for if you looked into it and agree with them!
