updates galore!
Friday night I went to see 9voltRevolt at a lovely place called Pappy's which is in the south end of Louisville. Ok, it wasn't really lovely, but I had a good time. I went with rah, her husband and two of her friends. I also go to meet the fantastic g*g*. She and I had been chatting for a while... it turned out that Louisville is such a small town we had way fewer than 6 degrees of separation. And I love her! She is so cool. And so it was a nice night.
Saturday night I went out with some Payless people to celebrate a birthday. Earlier in the week I was told we were going to eat at Shogun and then go to the Comedy Caravan, but then they decided to change the plans and go to Phoenix Hill Tavern. Anyone that knows me knows that I am not a bar/club type person. It was an okay night. It was nice to see Julie again, she doesn't work for Payless anymore and I hadn't seen her in a while. And the girls kept me entertained with their drunken antics. But I was sooo tired. I had worked a double shift on Friday and stayed out late that night, then opened the store on Saturday... so it was a long day.
Today I was going to go to a seminar thing that one of my professors from college was doing, but I was just so tired I decided not to go. I wanted to see him again and I really thought it would be cool, but I decided resting was more important. I am also having a grand old time doing laundry. Later on I might even do some grocery shopping. Ooooh.
