And then *BAMF* just like that, I was gone.
So I';m outta here for the weekend! Stephen, Veronica, and I are headed to Iowa, for my brother, Mark's, wedding! Victor and Alex will be chilling back here at home.
I'm looking forward to this - not the wedding itself, perse, just because i'm not overly fond of weddings (but Veronica is excited as all get out - this is the very first wedding she';s ever been to... that she remembers), but everyone together will be good.
So, since I will definitely be away from the computer for a few days, at the very minimum, I thought I'd leave you with an oddity.
Here is a song that I first heard when I was 14-15ish - I've been fans of their various forms for years - but this song still gets me. I just DON'T get it. Is it just too random? (purple toupees, shoehorn with teeth, and fingertips, and I'm asking about random. Heh) Or is it me?

Well you are much kinder than I was about this song. To me it was and is just stupid. I would not waste more than three seconds trying to fathom the depths of its meaning, ain't got one.

I have it from a reliable source of such apocrypha that "Slender Fungus" is about Peter Murphy. You know the relationship between Tones on Tail and Bauhaus, the rest pretty much follows. They dinna like heem much, no.

A reliable source, eh? Hrmmmm.....interesting, since I know that David J. lives in San Diego, and most Bauhaus stuff, since their original reunion tour has been San Diego based.
That's an interesting way to say that they don't like someone, if it truly is about Peter Murphy.
