Elmo EXTREME
Ok, Alex is getting one of these things for Christmas. Stephen got the original for Christmas the year that it was popular, and this one way, WAY, more fun. I just showed this to Stephen, and he was laughing his butt off. I wonder who is going to end up playing with it more....

I've got good news, and I've got bad news...
The bad news is......I broke my TOE! OW! This is the second toe I've broken in 2 years. Last time it was the toe right next to the newly broken one. What's up with that? It sucks, too, that the story behind it is that I was stumbling back to bed, from the bathroom, at 3 am, and the computer chair was not where it was supposed to be (we must have a ghost, it wasn't in the way when I got up and went TO the bathroom). I hit it, thought I had caught myself in time, tried to pull the teetering chair back upright, and then my arms gave out and the chair went toppling over, twisting, and mangling my toe in the process. I also hit my head on something (chair? bed? other chair? computer tower?) HARD! It really hurt, and gave me a bunch of aches and pains all down my neck and back, in muscles I didn't even know existed! The main goose egg is better (this happened at 3 am on thurs or fri, I can't remember), but I still have some pretty bad pain in my jaw. I'm sure my severe TMJ is in no way involved. Yeah, right. Actually, while it hurts, I seem to be able to open my mouth a little wider now, than before, so maybe there's a silver lining in there, somewhere. If it ever stops hurting, that is.
Ok, good news? Well, I wasn't thinking this when I started this entry, but, I had a very nice, small, birthday this past Saturday. I'm still on an emotional swell because it's the first birthday without my dad, but the day itself was nice, and I got some neato stuff from my family and friends (Thanks Brant!).
The real good news? Alex's school picture, for this year just came home today, and it is AWESOME! We've always had a hard time taking pictures of him, especially professional, posed, pictures, so when I opened up the envalope and saw the pic, I was estatic - I was more than estatic! I'm on a Proud Mommy high!
