I really like this song, and its weird cause I was listening to it on the way to work. I think you should ask Victor to take you to Mars for the weekend, it'll cheer you up.

This is my absolute favorite song, and I've considered it my "theme song" for years. I'm not sure why, but it's comforting to listen to when I am feeling alone, and misunderstood.
Of course, being a life-long (literally - thanks to having much older brothers) Bowie fan helps. I find a lot of his music to be quite comforting.

Yah, I am a huge Bowie fan-I am probably same age group as your much older brothers.
I bought my first Bowie Album (Space Oddity) in 1969 and still love it. I still have the old album, along with the 8-track tape, the cassette and the CD which is now on my PC and MP3 player. Don't know why i kept the tapes and album as they are ruined beyond use, kind of a security blanket thing I s'pose.
The songs: Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud and Letter to Hermione remind me of Life on Mars (1971), and vice-versa, and I am going to listen to them on the way home really loud and be a complete sado to all onlookers...weekend here I come, weeeeeee
