Damn, what's that clicking noise?

Ok, Perry, this one's for you - can you really say that this song is any less lame than "Let's Build A Snowman"? Ok, well, maybe it is, but only by a smidgeon. =)

I was born in 1970.

From what I understand, my brother Steve was the first to introduce Bowie into my family, with the album Hunky Dory. He shared it with my brother, Brian. The first Bowie song Brian ever heard was The Bewlay Brothers (which explains my birthday entry for Brian), and he was hooked. Brian became the big Bowie fan of the family, and since he often took care of me, well, I was at his mercy. That, of course, fueled my own love of Bowie music.

At this point in time, I really couldn't tell you which of us is the bigger fan. Probably Brian, as I never went as far as to have my face painted exactly like the Aladdin Sane cover, for Halloween (not to mention, drawing the same on his little sister's make up Barbie head, on Christmas, the day she got it. The red never did completely wash off).

Edited - HA! Lookie what I found....

Touche, equally as lame, maybe lamer.

1957, put you at 35 so not surprised.

Must be a real bummer for Brian, you know, still having the red bit on his face, hehehehe.

I've had to take Barbie and Cindy away from Michael and Luke. The Action Men (GIJoes) keep looking up Cindy's skirt and laughing (??) and they keep saying Barbie is a spy and treating her like a bakelite Mata Hari.

Steve was born in 1957, and Brian in 1958. =)

I'll have to find a copy of one of the Aladdin Sane pics of Brian, and post it.
