Weirdness

Sorry for the delay, but the bedroom is all rearranged, and I've slept well, for the last three nights, or, at least as well as to be expected. I did wake up, at 4, the night before, last, and had myself a bout of disorientation when trying to figure out how to get to the bathroom, but I haven't broken any bones, or anything, so I'd say that it's all good. The room does seem to be bigger, this way, too. Cool.

We have the new computer, but Victor is having some issues getting the two systems hooked up to each other, and more importantly, both hooked up to the internet. He's said the same things over, and over, again, and at this point, I don't know what he needs to do, but I think he has a good idea, so, I'm going to let him figure it out. This machine is working MUUUUUUCH better, now, so as long as it's working, I'm not sweating it.

Nothing much else going on, to talk about, so I'll leave you with an extremely strange little internet toy/game/Idontknowwhatitis thingie, to play around with, to your liking. I'm not even sure what to call it. It's seriously weird.

Bizarre website toy thingie

Enjoy!

I have no catchy title for this entry

So, this lady at Victor's work has a computer that she doesn't want, anymore, so she's pretty much giving it to us. Since this thing has been having some strange issues, as of late, I welcome a back-up machine, even if it is this one, that becomes the back-up.

So...I'm not exactly sure what Victor is thinking, as far as how we're going to set this up, but he must have some idea, because he is currently in the process of rearranging our bedroom, right behind me, here.

My bed has never been in any spot of this room, other than the one he just dislodged it from. I'm worried. I think that the room may look really nice, set up like that, but, can I sleep with the bed facing an opposite direction? I don't know, I guess we'll find out, tonight.

The other question is, how will all the other stuff fit in the room, now that the bed has been moved? Will there be somewhere we can put the TV so we can actually watch it, from bed? What about the dresser? Will there be any walking space left?

Stay tuned for the outcome....

Just to let you know

Some very difficult stuff has come up, and as a result, I probably won't be updating this blog, very much. I'm not abandoning it, I will be back, but I'm just not in a very talkative mood, and probably won't be, for awhile.

You'd think I would have learned my lesson

My cat Joey, was named so, because, I jokingly suggested, "Buttafuoco", and John latched on to it. Well, I did it, again.

This time, I jokingly suggested, "Bingbong", which is what Mike Ditka referred to the character, "Byong Sun" as, throughout the movie "Kicking and Screaming" (this is not an endorsement for the movie, BTW - it wasn't that good, though the kids loved it), and guess what? Victor has latched on to "Bingbong", and now, I have a cat named Byong Sun AKA Bingbong.

I guess it could be worse.

Henna tats

This weekend I bought a henna kit, and we did henna tattoos. It's been a year, since I've done any, so I was a bit nervous, but I practiced with a little one, on my ankle first, and it doesn't appear that I've lost the ability to trace. Hehe.

I've only done a few (already need more eucalyptus oil, they never give you very much, in the kit), so far, but I'm sure there will be more, this coming weekend, after Stephen, and Veronica, get back from their dad's house.

Here are the one's I did this weekend.

My ankle tester tat:

Miranda and Lauren's matching tats:

Victor's celtic tat:

Victor and I have started discussing the idea of me starting a p/t business, doing henna tats, but I still need more practice. Guess I'd better go get that eucalyptus oil, huh?

In other news, baby kitty is doing well. He seems to like it here, and is already pretty comfortable with me (he is also quite attracted to my hair, and likes to get himself wrapped up in it, and purr, and knead, just like Bessie does). Bessie is being slow to warm up, but I know he'll get over it. Still no decision on the name, yet. Suggestions are always welcome. =)

Kitties!

I'm in a grumpy mood, today. I don't feel like getting into it - it's not a terribly huge thing, anyway, just, annoying.

Anyway - since I don't want to talk about it, I'll take you out to Jodi's "happy place" - KITTEN WARS!

Go - look at all the cute kitties, and feel the warm, fuzzy, goodness. Oh yeah, and if you happen to come across this picture, vote for him - he's my widdle cutie pie, and he's not fairing so well, in the war, at the moment.

Tarot

One of my online friends, who lives in Canada, did a tarot reading, for me, today, on the phone. It was very interesting, and while I can't say that she really told me anything new, it did help to explain some things, and put things in a different perspective. That's what I hope to gain, from it, on those rare occasions when I have a reading done, so I would say that it was very successful.

There wasn't a whole lot of straight-forward stuff, for me to write about here, and I'm still trying to sort through, and organize my thoughts of the whole thing, so I guess I'll just close out this entry with my Voyager Tarot Card-A-Day, which seems fitting, given the fact that I had a reading, just today.

TWO OF WANDS: PURITY

White candlelight is symbolic of purity. Like the untainted white snow and the impeccable white lotus, you are clean of character impurities. Purity, as the natural light of the candle, means being authentic and natural - be true to yourself without the contamination of outside conditioning. White light, the crystals, window, and lotus reflection, represent purity of perception.

See things as they really are, unhampered by prejudicial preconceptions.

Pure white energy means living without artificial stimulants, chemicals, and drugs. Pure, you are a window to others for seeing their path.

Be a guiding light.

Yep, I'm seeing things a lot clearer, now.

Will wonders never cease?

I worked out today! Yes! Really! Me! Exercise! Yay!

I've never really been into exercise. I've taken classes, and kept up with it, for awhile, here and there, but it's never really been a strong force, in my life.

I would like to change that. Ok, no, I don't want to turn into the buff fitness type - I have one of those, for an ex, and I'll pass. I would like to be in a little better shape - mostly toning, as my weight, and proportions are pretty good, at the moment, and increase my flexibility, and stamina.

Soooo, I've started doing yoga. I've been talking about it, for well over a year now, and it is SOOOO easy for me to procrastinate, and not get to it. Not today. Today I finally decided to put my foot down, and do it.

I am not the most graceful thing, on two legs, though I did rather well, if I say so, myself. =) Now, if I can just get to the point where I don't have to think about it, too much, and can just get up, and do it, I'll be doing great, and getting in better shape - the best part.

I'm proud of me, today.

Hi!

It's me. Yes, I am still alive, and kicking, just not on the internet. It's been a busy summer, so far, and it's only just official begun, here.

Although Victor's girls have been here for almost 6 weeks, Stephen, Veronica, and Alex just got out of school, on tuesday. We had all of the kids, until yesterday afternoon, which would explain my lack of entries. Now it's just the three, and a moment to catch my breath. Seems odd to think that having 3 kids is a "break", but, it's a lot quieter than 5, I'll tell ya that!

Since I don't have much to talk about, unless you want to hear about who is friends with who, in the neighborhood, this week, I'll just round this entry out with a bunch of pictures! There are some great one's of Alex, and a couple of me, and Victor, from my brother. Camera battery is charging, right now, so there will probably be more pictures, of all of us, in the upcoming weeks!
