Packing.
I have this recurring dream... it's never really the same dream, but it always has three main elements.
1. I'm completely aware of my surroundings on every level.
2. I have to gather all my stuff and leave.
3. A force is constantly trying to disrupt my progress.
An example:
I'm in a room with two beds, and all of my clothes, art supplies, etc, are scattered around me, and I must get them packed so I can get out of there. Yet every time I make progress, someone (sometimes I know the person, sometimes not) comes in and just GETS IN MY FACE.
It was only altered one time, when I recognized that "shit, I gotta pack my shit and git" feeling, but then paused, looked around, and shrugged it off, saying "fuck that, this is someone else's shit.".
I woke up feeling great that morning.

Sunday is my work on kamiam.com day. I just updated the melting pot, and am totally stoked that the next task at hand doesn't even involve my computer. I'm cleaning the collage. That's right folks, cleaning it. I'm armed with an air duster, static wipes, small brushes and method's lavander all-purpose cleaner. The purpose, is for the final photo shoot. That's right folks, the final photo shoot. Ahhhh... I think I'm probably the first website in history that cleans up its interface with actual cleaning suppies.
I'm off to dust.. and adjust... and remove or add where necessary. All while having a Renny Harlin action movie marathon. Life is so fuckin' good.

I've had a busy couple of work days... somehow I have the largest workload of all the designers at Symantec. I take it as a compliment... my manager obviously knows that I can do it all and do it all well. I've found a new appreciation for my job these days, thinking of past workplaces... Symantec is more a family than a group of co-workers, and that makes everything a breeze. My career path has been on my mind a bit lately, especially since working on kamiam.com - I've been looking through alot of my old work. I'm kind of in a new youth right now... back to punk rock basics... and I'm reminding myself of me when I was 19 and 20ish. I gave up alot of youth time to build this career, and now that the building is pretty solid and nicely decorated, I'm finding that it's great fun to create like I did back then. All the crazy pressure is off. All the proving myself is done. All the creating is still only beginning.

steeerrreeettttch.....
I just did a top layer tightening of kamiam.com, and I'm quite pleased with how it's coming together. I'm poised to start work on a few new additions, including tattoo designs and corporate whoring. I'm stoked on building a website again... it's been awhile since I've waxed photoshopical for my own pleasure.
I also did a new painting today. I need to get batteries for my camera so I can post the last two I whipped out.
In other news, I'm craving sex like a fiend. I'm going to vaporise and do some yoga as a means of distraction. Where's a good man when I need one??
p.s. I can't stop watching Streets of Fire.

I'm having a Monday Tuesday. I woke up this morning and the first thought that went out my head was "ooooh, it's Friday!" and then I really woke up and went "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw... it's TUESDAY!!" Then I had to get to work early early for an early early meeting, and it ended up being cancelled after we all sat in the room for half an hour waiting for the PM. Now I'm just tired and working. Oddly though, after a majorly unproductive few hours, I've gotten a shitload of stuff done.
Something totally fun, is that Glen and I are going to be in the studio audience for Real Time with Bill Maher this Friday. I'm sooooo stoked to be in the same room with Bill Maher. I love him. He kicks ass. Plus, it'll just be fun to be in a studio audience. I know Martin Short is one of the panelists for Friday, but I've no idea who the other two will be.
Nothing else to report. This is a very straight to the point of boring blog entry.
