So I just watched the premiere of 24, and I'm sooooo glad. The season is ON.
Current topic of pondering which will be written about sometime in the near future: I am the same age that Bruce Lee was when he died. He was 32. I've been grasping images of his being so very much at the beginning of life, and then POOF it's all done all of a sudden. It's making me appreciate this life all the more, given that it could be gone at any seccond, really... but Bruce at 32, man, that perplexes my noggin in the deepest diggings of a way.

Smoke
I feel like a smoker again. There's so much smoke in the air from the fires now, that I can no longer see the hills from outside my window. Only a few trees. It's surreal.
On a lesser of importance note, I was so stoked about the season premiere of 24 last night, and then at around 7pm, my cable box shut down. Totally fried itself. The cable folks are bringing a new one today. Thus, I won't be watching 24 this season... I can't do it if I haven't seen the first damn hour... I'll wait for the DVDs to be released. Unless I can find an encore showing of the first hour when my new box arrives. Crazy cable box... how did it know that 24 was one of only 3 shows that I watch??

Eyeballs!
So, a major shout out to Jodi for setting up my blog. Not only did she set up my blog, but dude, she set up my blog. It's gorgeous now.
Now, I'm going to go for a walk up to Sunset Blvd. and ponder the existence of my Blog. This is a whole new world... I've kept journals since I was a little girl, and they've been in small locked books or five-subject, college ruled notebooks. This is a new era... posting my random thoughts and ponderings and ramblings here for all to see. Sounds exciting!

So this is the first time I've ever typed an entry into a blog. I'm just getting to know this thing... all these buttons and formatting and such. I plan to customize this blog, but first I must explore.
